Gallery: bushmen of East and South Africa
There are few hunter-gatherer tribes left in the world and those that remain don't necessarily practice the same hunting and gathering methods of our hominid ancestors. Nevertheless, they do provide a strong stimulus for our imagination. The following images are from Tanzania (the Hadza people) and Botswana (the Kalahari or san bushmen).
